About Gustavo

Gustavo Junqueira is a brazilian photojournalist with a BA in Social Comunication - journalism. Having a great passion for travel and the arts, photography was at first a support to document his experiences and accompany his texts.

Gradually it took over as his ideal media of expression and a full time profession. His experience as a photographer is very versatile as he has «navigated» in diverse related fields such as editorial and comercial photography, corporative and festival events, still photography (on film production), photojournalism assigments, documentary and art projects.

His lens has captured great moments in many places around the globe such as: Hawaii, Bali, India, Australia, Peru and of course his homeland Brazil. He has recently moved to Montreal, Canada in order to enrich and broaden his experience as a professional and as a human being.
